MINIONS....

well my minions. not much has happened. i havent updated because of that. i cant talk about my job because its kind of a big deal. so that leaves not much to talk about. mabel just had her second birthday on the 2nd of this month, january. it wont be much longer until im HOME!

ive planned out the dates for my vacation. im not posting them on here because i dont want my ex husband to read this and try to sabatoge my parade. but i will say one thing. the hotel is booked! and boy oh boy is it gunna be a good time.

me and micheau are on kind of bad terms again. he doesnt enjoy paying his child support. so i had to force my hand via chain of command. i wish things could be different. he doesnt seem interested in our daughter. he doesnt attempt to call her or web chat with her. as her mommy, its very frustrating to me because shes the best person in this whole world and i simply cant understand why he wouldnt want to form a bond with her. ive come to terms with it mostly but there are still nights where i lay awake thinking about her and hoping things will turn around with micheau and that he'll want more to do with her. he spoke of spending summers with her and holidays... but then turned around and made it appear as though he doesnt think shes worth a 12 hour drive. she TOTALLY is worth that drive. i would do it and i expected the same from a loving father. its just disappointing for me to feel as though he doesnt see that little angel in the same light as i do.

i had about 50 pictures printed off and im gunna start keeping an album of her years. i will back track eventually and print out 50 pictures from her 1st year of life i just have to get to that. i am just so busy working 12 hour days. i work "2nd shift" and when i get off work i go to the gym and hit the hay. maybe ill work on it tonight at work if i have some down time. we will see though. whelp thats it for tonight. talk to yall later =]

Hello

Sorry it's been awhile. I don't currently have a job so there really isn't anything to talk about. I have however been hitting the gym everyday since I got here (BAF) and trying to eat healthy. Also trying to cut down on my portions. I want to be in much better shape when I come home. Well I'll write again later when there's something goin on. 

Bagram

Well y'all I made it to cloudy bagram just yesterday. I am finally settled in! I am living in a bunker-like structure and have a room to myself. It's not bad. I even have a door!

So yea it's not bad at all. And I finally got some hot food to eat. No more mres for this girl! I started my diet today and I am excited to see how I fair for the rest of the deployment. My initial goal was to drop 40 pounds and I've dropped 10 so far. But I would be happy to just get down to 155. That's 20 more pounds. I've lost alot of fat so far and gained quite a bit of muscle. I might watch a few episodes of Spartacus and call it a night. 

December

Hey y'all. I know it's been awhile but there hasn't really been much going on. More of my friends have left our lovely FOB and I'm ready to go as well. All my shit is packed. Was working on loading a plane this morning but the load master pissed me off cuz he didn't know what he was doing I think. Because of him, I almost hit the side of the bird with my carriage! It was a close call. Like 3 inches away from hitting. 

I ordered myself a new MacBook Pro. Just a standard one 13 in screen with retina display. I haven't bought myself anything really for ME since I met Micheau over 3 years ago so I thought now since I have the means to, I could get myself a little something. Ill prolly regret it next year but it will be ok. I still have plenty of time here to set money aside and it's even easier considering I have no bills aside from providing for Mabel and my dogs. Alright y'all. Have a good one. Oh and my birthday is in 15 days. :)

Days of days

So rumor has it the Internet will be shut off tmrw. I hope not. Hopefully they were just bluffing. Haha. I got off work early today and it was good cuz I really needed it. I had my tape test this morning and I've come to the conclusion I should get out of the military. I'm tired of feeling fat when I'm not.

Thanksgiving

Well today was an alright day. I had the day "off" but had to have dinner with a bunch of generals. Which was alright except they didn't have pumpkin pie at the chow hall. Lol 

One of my Aussie friends left today too. I'm gunna miss him alot. Real good guy. His name is Andrew. 

I don't have much to say except that I miss Mabel. I want her in my arms. And if it wasn't for the money id be on the next flight to pa. I'm just tired. Don't even feel like being around anyone just want to curl into a ball and cry it out. But the tears won't come. 

First post

Well this is new. I hope you all are entertained by my ramblings haha. I don't know how often ill update this thing but ill try to do it as often as I have something to say lol so do y'all know anything about moving cargo? Cuz that's what I do. There are many faces of transportation. Land sea air and rail. Each of those legs has cargo and PAX. I do cargo. Everywhere I've been, I've done cargo. And I really enjoy it. Like some people like it. But I honestly think I was born to do this. So right now I am doing air. I load planes. It's pretty good fun. Last night we had some seal guys come in with a pallet of tires and the way they had it strapped to the pallet was out of control. Ill explain. So a pallet is 108 inches by 88 inches and cargo can be stacked (typically) no taller than 96 inches. There are 6 rings on the 108 length side and 5 rings on the 88 length side. There is a net called a top net that is designed for cargo that is shorter than 45 inches tall. It is designed the same way as the pallet where one side is longer than the other. And it has 5 hooks on one side and 4 on the other. The ring on the pallet the farthest to the right on each side is always empty. The top net also has this extra hook on it called the belly band which is designed to provide extra security and to make sure nothing falls off the pallet or shifts during transport. There is also netting called side nets which are a bit more complicated and ill explain those at a later time. So back to the pallet with the tires. THESE GUYS come in with this pallet. It was taller than me (I'm 67 inches tall) and there were ratchet straps strewn about and a TOP NET was what they put on it. Well needless to say all of us down at the yard almost broke our necks as soon as it came in the yard. Like flies on shit cuz apparently we have a 6th sense for messed up pallets haha. It was crazy. I don't know how they even got this thing attached to the pallet. There were straps everywhere. Attached to the wrong hooks and even attached back onto their own strap lol. I will include a picture to show y'all. 

See what I mean? OUT OF CONTROL. well needless to say we had to fix it. Lol. 

It's now 1030 pm (9.5 hour time difference from the east(best) coast) and its time for this girl to hit the hay. Good night.
